Rachel Maxine Jenkins

January 10, 1932 - February 23, 2018

Rachel Maxine Jenkins, 86, of South Point, Ohio passed away Friday, February 23, 2018 at Cabell Huntington Hospital, Huntington, WV.  She was born January 10, 1932 in South Point, OH, a daughter of the late Roy and Rosa Pearl Adkins Curtis.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by five brothers, Floyd, Dallas, John, Robert and Joe; two sisters, Delores and Reva; and two grandchildren.  Rachel is survived by her children, Joseph (Beth) Jenkins of Ewa Beach, HI, Nancy C. Barnes of Vincent, OH, Phyllis (Danny) Bright of Henderson, WV, Pauline Yates of South Point, OH, Mary Ann (Steve) Grady of Vincent, OH and William Jenkins of South Point, OH; a sister, Ruth; 11 grandchildren; and 23 great grandchildren.  Funeral services will be 12 PM Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point, OH with David Webb officiating.  Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Gardens, South Point, OH.  Friends may visit from 11 AM to 12 PM before the service.  Condolences to the family may be expressed at www.slackandwallace.com.
