    Joshua Aaron Collins, 37 of Kenova, WV, passed away, February 28, 2018.  He was born January 25, 1981 in Huntington, WV, a son of Kimberly S. Johnson Collins of South Point, OH and the late Harold Lee “Bob” Collins.  He was also preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Colin Johnson Jr. and Mary Alice “Ricki” Johnson; a cousin, Jacob Thacker; and step brother, Joseph Trent Collins.  Joshua was a graduate of South Point High School, Class of 1999. He loved to make people laugh.  He was an avid fan of the Detroit Lions and loved to spend his spare time fishing and camping with his family.  He was an Air Force veteran and worked as a Pharmacy Tech at CVS for 8 years.  In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Erin Adkins Collins and their four-legged children, Bentley, Bella and Bayley; a step-sister, Shelly Ann (Jerrod) Collins of Salt Rock, WV; and the Rev. Glen Randall Adkins and his wife, Rhonda and family of Erin Adkins Collins.  He is also survived by his birth father, Merle A. Sherman; a half-sister, Amanda (Mathew) Venoy of Huntington, WV; step-sister, Suzie Bentley of Huntington, WV; and many special family and friends.  Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Monday, March 5, 2018 at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point, OH with The Rev. Dr. I. Mark Connor officiating.  Burial will follow at McSweeney Family Cemetery, South Point, OH.  Friends may visit 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM Monday at the funeral home.  Condolences to the family may be expressed at www.slackandwallace.com.
