Appreciate Bro.Bill's faithfulness to his LORD and Savior... I remember the last time he visited Big Creek Baptist a few months ago... Bro.Bill lit up the foyer (as usual) with his exuberant joy and stories... Faithful to follow his pastor and worship his Great God... Prayers and comfort for the family... Bro.Bill will be missed... God bless...

This came up on my social media feed and my heart broke. My favorite memory of Bill was his smile. When he smiled at you , you couldn't help but smile back. As a kid, he seemed larger than life to me as we went to church at Sybene Baptist Church in the late 60's. His family is precious and I am sad that I do not live where I can stay in touch or even see any of them. But he was loved by so many and will leave a vacancy that cannot be filled. I'm so sorry for the loss Bill and grief the entire family shares. I haven't seen Bill in many years, but remember him fondly and respected him as a loving family husband and father. May God bless him and the family he leaves behind in this earthly kingdom.
