Derrick Lee Barker, 37, of Ironton, OH died Friday, March 22, 2019 at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington, WV.  He was born November 11, 1981 in Ironton, OH, a son of the late William Lee Barker and Vickie Giles (Bob) Crager of Ironton.  In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Phyllis and Jack Barker; maternal grandfather, Charles Giles; uncle, Donald Barker; and great niece, Paislee Barker.  Survivors include his children, Madison Barker and Derrick S. Barker, both of Franklin Furnace, OH; two sisters, Hilary Crager of South Point, OH and Audra (John) Litteral of Ashland, KY; two brothers, Scott (Angie) Barker of Ashland, KY and Bill (Sarah) Barker of Chesapeake, OH; his step-mother, Barbara Barker of Ashland, KY; and several nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be 1 PM Saturday, March 30, 2019 at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point, OH.  Burial will follow at Hecla Cemetery, Ironton, OH.  Friends may visit two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.  Condolences to the family may be expressed at www.slackandwallace.com.
