Melissa Diane Curtis, 32, of South Point, Ohio died Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at home. Funeral services will be 2 PM Saturday, July 7 2012 at Christ Temple Church, Huntington, WV with Pastor Gary Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in Burlington 37 Cemetery. Melissa was born February 21, 1980 in Huntington, WV, a daughter of Princess Redman Curtis and Michael Curtis. She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Mary Magdalyn and Dircus Redman; an uncle, Gates Redman; and two aunts, Gale Redman and Sandy Gillespie. Melissa is survived by her brother, Mikey Curtis; paternal grandparents, Jack and Regina Curtis; five uncles, Peter, Daniel, Lance and David Redman and Robert Lee and two aunts, Pamela Baker and Debbie Maynard. To momma’s little sweet pea, even while yet in the womb, I have loved you not only with my whole heart but with my whole life. Your love for the Lord has so impacted me, my life will never be the same. I will always miss and love you deeply. Goodnite my love, Momma will see you in the morning. Friends may call Saturday from 12 PM to 2 PM at Christ Temple Church. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the funeral home to help the family with funeral expenses.
