Julia A. Ward Butcher

June 26, 1943 - July 8, 2012

JULIA ANN BUTCHER (WARD), 69, of South Point, Ohio, went to be with her Jesus on Sunday, July 8th 2012. Julia was a loving wife, mother and grandmother (Gran) who loved her Saviour and her church. She doted on her kids and grandkids, loved spending time with her family, and cherished working with the students at Burlington Elementary.
A memorial will be at 6:30 PM on Wednesday, July 11th at Apostolic Life Cathedral, 350 Staunton St., Huntington, WV 25702; Pastor E.S. Harper officiating.
Julia was born at Saint Mary’s in Huntington, WV, the daughter of the late Carl Wesley and Sarah (Crum) Ward. She was preceded in passing by her husband of fifty one years, Billy Raymond Butcher. She is survived by her daughter Lisa (Thomas) Cantrell and son Billy (Tonya) Butcher of Evansville, IN, six grandchildren; Brian Douglas, Joshua, Alaina, and Ava Cantrell, Rian (Jessica) and Billy Butcher; a loving brother Carl Danny (Patty) Ward and her best friend and sister-in-law Linda (Dave) Lester and a host of family and friends.
