Joseph W. Dickess

December 11, 1966 - April 11, 2019

Joseph William Dickess, 52, of Ironton, OH passed away Thursday, April 11, 2019 at Cabell Huntington Hospital, Huntington, WV.  He was born December 11, 1966 in Ironton, OH, son of the late Sam and Ruth Fyffe Dickess.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Sam Dickess and his first wife, Christi Dickess.  Joseph is survived by his wife, Deborah Primm Dickess; his four-legged son, Little Sami Dickess; one sister, Judy Jenkins (John Holston) of Ironton, OH; a brother-in-law, Larry (Janice) Boggs of Coal Grove, OH; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews; his “Dad” David Roberts of Ironton, OH and a host of special friends.  He was a 1985 graduate of Collins Career Center and attended 13^th Street Freewill Baptist Church in Ashland, KY.  Funeral Service will be 1 PM Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point, OH with Pastor Chuck Ferguson officiating.  Visitation will be from 6-9 PM Monday, April 15, 2019 and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.  Condolences to the family may be expressed at www.slackandwallace.com.
