EMMA MAE WILLIS McCOMAS, 84, of South Point, OH died Saturday, October 27, 2012 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Thursday, November 1, 2012 at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point with Pastor Rock Dearfield officiating. Burial will follow at Myrtle Ridge Cemetery, Kitts Hill, OH. Emma was born February 10, 1928 in Lawrence County, OH, a daughter of the late Fred Willis and Lorena Gossett Willis. She was preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth Willis; a brother, Freddy (Bud) Willis; grandson, Shawn Jameson; and great grandson, Paul Johnson. She is survived by her husband, James A. McComas; two daughters, Janice (Robert) Jameson of Kitts Hill, OH and Candy (Rob) Evans of South Point, OH a sister, Doris Simmons of Haines City, FL; three grandchildren, Lorena Johnson and Jamie and Jeremy Rice; and four great grandchildren, Desaree Johnson, Dylan Johnson, Ethan, Jeremiah and Nathaniel Rice. The family would like to thank Hospice of Huntington, Julie, Carolyn, Christy and Chaplain Zack for their kindness and care and a special thank you to Dr. Pinson and Emily for all their hugs.
