    Bill Eugene Sparling, 94, of South Point, OH passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at Cabell Huntington Hospital, Huntington, WV.  He was born March 3, 1925 in Lawrence County, OH, son of the late Charles and Estella Currington Sparling.  Bill was a World War II Army Veteran and retired as a chemist from Allied Chemical.  He is survived by his loving wife, Clarice Clark Sparling and two children, David Sparling and Donna Taylor.  Private Services were held.  Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point, OH is assisting the family with arrangements.  Condolences to the family may be expressed at www.slackandwallace.com.
