December 6, 2012, Heaven’s gates were opened to welcome a new praise and worship leader. JERRY D. SEXTON, 59, of Chesapeake, Ohio will now be leading a heavenly choir. Jerry is survived by a loving wife of 42 years, Debbie Sexton; son, Brian Sexton, wife, Tonya and child, Bryce; daughter, Kelley Poff, husband, Brad and children, Braley and Allie; and daughter, Lauren Sexton and children, Carli and Xander. Also surviving this shepherd is the congregation of New Covenant Church as well as two sisters, three brothers and many cousins, nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at 5:00 PM Monday, December 10, 2012 at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point, OH with Elders of New Covenant Church and Brian Sexton officiating. Family and friends may call from 3 to 5 PM at the funeral home. Condolences to the family may be expressed at www.slackandwallace.com.
