Richard F. Bailey

Richard Floyd Bailey, 69, of South Point, Ohio, formerly of Jesse, West Virginia, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Saturday, December 8, 2012. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ulvert and Gertrude Bailey and brother, Gary of Brooksville, Florida. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Sylvia Staton Bailey; son Richie (Theresa); daughter Mica Burns (Shawn); three grandchildren, Evan and Luke Bailey and Olivia Abner; older brother Tony Bailey (Ann); sisters’-in-law Alice Bailey and Bonnie West; brother-in-law, Ronnie West; mother-in-law, Edith Staton; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He has dedicated his life to the Lord and loved him with all of his heart. Viewing will be held on Thursday, December 13, 2012 from 3 to 5 PM at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point, Ohio.
