Wanda J. Eaches, 78, of South Point, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, February 14, 2013 at King’s Daughters Medical Center, Ashland, KY. Funeral services will be 2 PM Sunday, February 17, 2013 at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point, Ohio with Pastor Trent Carpenter officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Gardens. Wanda was born November 17, 1934 in Ironton, OH, a daughter of the late Gerald and Garnet Summers Rowe. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, David Akers. She was of the Baptist faith. Wanda is survived by her husband of 62 years, Harley Richard (Dick) Eaches; two children, Mark Allen (Susan) Eaches of South Point, OH and Terri J. (John) Hansen of Wheelersburg, Ohio; one sister, Cynthia (Paul) Bullion of Marion, OH; one brother, Don (Janet) Akers of Marion, OH; five grandchildren, Chris Davis, Jason (Christy) Eaches, Justin Eaches, Amy Hansen and Andy (Nicole) Hansen; two great grandchildren, Braelyn Eaches and Addison Hansen; a sister-in-law, Louise Akers of Marion, OH; and aunt, Mary Rice of Marion, OH.
