MARTHA ANN (HOLLAND) LEASE “Granny”, 86, of Burlington, Ohio was called to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on March 25, 2013. Martha worked as a housewife (Domestic Engineer) for many years. She was preceded in death by parents Joseph and Bertha (Howard) Holland; her husband of 69 years, James Allen Lease; one daughter, Patricia Ann Redman; two brothers; and five sisters. During a short illness, she was surrounded by the love of her family. She is survived by a loving daughter and son-in-law, Beverly C. (Larry) Smith of Burlington, Ohio; four grandchildren, Mark A. McConnell of Burlington, Ohio, and Jonnetta C. McConnell, Richard A. McConnell and Martha B. McConnell, all of Columbus, Ohio; twenty-three great grandchildren; twenty-three great, great grandchildren; two brothers, Hoover and Bill Holland, both of Columbus, Ohio; three special nephews (sons), Jack (Dorothy) Holland of Radcliff, Ky., Roger L. Holland of Ironton, Ohio and Larry B. Ford of Burlington, Ohio; and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 12 Noon Friday, March 29, 2013 at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point, Ohio with Rev. Dr. Douglas C. Carter officiating.
