John O. Eunice

February 25, 1937 - May 4, 2019

JOHN OWEN EUNICE, 82, passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2019, at Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Kentucky.

A private family memorial service will be held Wednesday, May 8, at 11 a.m., with his son-in-law Rev. Timothy Linick officiating.

Born February 25, 1937, he was the son of the late Simmie Owens Eunice and Betty Mae McCoy Eunice.  He was also preceded in death by his son, Danny Ray Eunice, brother Jimmie Don Eunice, sister Samone Hampton, and son-in-law, Pat Patterson.

Mr. Eunice served in the United States Air Force.  He worked most of his life as a salesman of cars, motor homes, and travel trailers.  In the last 20 years of his life, he recommitted his life to Christ and faithfully attended church.  He enjoyed cooking for and sharing produce with friends and family.

Mr. Eunice is survived by his wife Anna Ruth McNeely of South Point, Ohio.  He is also survived by his first wife and mother of his eight children Margaret Ann Baker of St. Joseph, IL; seven children: John Eunice and wife Cindy of Moultrie, Kim Myers and husband Doug of Lakeland, TN, Vickie Patterson of Thomasville, GA, Tammy Roberts and husband Randy of Urbana, IL, Kenny Eunice and wife Anna Ashley of Lake City, FL, Karla Linick and husband Tim of Glasgow, KY, and Lori Craddock and husband Don of Urbana, IL; sister Janie Croft of Moultrie, and brother Bobby and his wife Linda of Moultrie; 18 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
