Debbie Hale Abbott, 58, of Fairbanks, AK, formerly of South Point, OH, died Sunday, September 1, 2013. Funeral services will be held 2 PM on Thursday, September 12, 2013 at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point, OH. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens, South Point. She was preceded in death by her son Isaiah Hale. Debbie was born June 29, 1955 in Kentucky, a daughter of Homer Spears of KY and Donna Rose Gullett of South Point. In addition to her parents she is survived by her husband, Charles Abbott of Fairbanks, AK; her children, Rebekah Taylor of South Point, Sarah Butler of Hanging Rock, OH and Matthew Hale of Glenville, WV; a sister, Robin Fitzpatrick of South Point; a brother, Terry Spears of KY; and six grandchildren, Connor Hamilton, Sophia Butler, Ty Taylor, Ishaiah Hale, Willow Hale and Lilith Hale.
