Rita Sue Morrison, 79, of South Point, OH died Friday, March 30, 2018 at her home. She was born November 2, 1938 in Ashland, KY, a daughter of the late Paul Lyons and Laura Wheatley Lyons. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Tyler Morrison and a brother, Roger Lyons. Survivors include her son, Jason R. Morrison of Ashland, KY; three grandchildren, Sophia Marie Morrison, Jacob Tyler Morrison and Haley Jo Morrison; three sisters, Mary Lou Stubb of Reno, NV, Edythe (David) Mays of South Point and Nina (Albert) Evans of Crown City, OH; and a brother, Tom (Becky) Lyons of Ironton, OH . A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, April 13, 2018 at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point with Rev.
