Robert Franklin Jameson, 66, of Ironton, OH passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington, WV.  He was born on September 9, 1952 in Huntington, WV, son of the late Benny Jameson and Mabel King.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Janice Jameson; one son, Shawn Robert Jameson and one grandson, Paul Robert Johnson.   Robert is survived by his daughter, Lorena Sue Johnson of Ironton, OH; three sisters, Maxine Alverez of Kitts Hill, OH, Sherry (Benny) McGinnis of Inez, KY and Trina King of Chesapeake, OH; one brother, Clovis King of CA; two grandchildren, Desaree Johnson of Huntington, WV and Dylan (Jordyn) Johnson of NC; sister-in-law, Candy (Rob) Evans of South Point, OH and nephews, Jamie Rice, Sarah and Ethan of Ironton, OH, Jeremy Rice, Tammie Jeremiah and Nate.    Funeral Service will be 1 PM Sunday, June 16, 2019 at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point, OH with Pastor Brian Hayton officiating.  Burial will follow at Myrtle Ridge Cemetery, Kitts Hill.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  Condolences to the family may be expressed at www.slackandwallace.com.
