David Lee Fugett

February 28, 1962 - June 13, 2019

David Lee Fugett, 57, of Ironton, OH passed away Thursday, June 13, 2019 at St. Mary’s Medical Campus, Ironton, OH.  David was born February 28, 1962 in Ironton, OH where he resided all his life.  A son of the late John Dee and Kathrine Gullett Fugett.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Johnny Ray and James Calvin Fugett and one grandchild.  David attended Ironton Schools and was a former employee of McDonald’s.  David is survived by three children, Patsy Birchfield of Coal Grove, OH, Kathrine (Marty) Browning of Ironton, OH and David Ray Fugett of Portsmouth, OH; two grandchildren; the mother of his children, Bertha Fugett; five brothers, Garland Fugett of Coal Grove, OH, Charles (Donna) Fugett of Ironton, OH, Donald Jay Fugett of Ironton, OH, Gary (Connie) Fugett of Ashland, KY and Mark Fugett of South Point, OH; four sisters, Linda (Jim) Tate of Heath, OH, Mary (Chuck) Delawder of Ironton, OH, Loretta Thompson of Ironton, OH and Donna (B.J.) Blair of Coal Grove, OH and many nieces and nephews.  There will be no services per David’s request.  Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point, OH is assisting the family with arrangements.  Condolences to the family may be expressed at www.slackandwallace.com.
