Coy B. Ashley

March 12, 1941 - April 4, 2018

Coy B. Ashley, 77, of South Point, OH passed away at Cabell Huntington Hospital on Monday, April 4, 2018.  He was born March 12, 1941 in Pike County, Arkansas, a son of the late Dennis and Augusta Dickerson Ashley.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Wayne Ashley and sister, Mary Kay Walker.  Coy retired as a Dockman for Black Diamond Fruit and Produce after 29 years of service.  He is survived by his wife, Leona C. Gee Ashley and two sons, Jesse Ashley and Coy Slaton of South Point, OH.  Graveside services will be 1:30 PM Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at Rome Cemetery, Proctorville, OH with Pastor Jerry Galloway officiating.  Friends may visit 12 PM to 1 PM Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point, OH.  Donations can be made to the funeral home to assist the family with expenses.  Condolences to the family may be expressed at www.slackandwallace.com.
