Ernestine Patterson

August 31, 1931 - June 24, 2019

Ernestine Patterson, 87, of Ironton, OH died Monday, June 24, 2019 at Community Hospice Care Center, Ashland, KY.  She was born in Ironton, Ohio, a daughter of the late Ernest and Ruth Walters Hardy.  She was a homemaker and enjoyed flower gardening and cooking.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, John D. Patterson, Sr.; one brother, James Hardy; a sister and brother-in-law, Josephine and Ralph Koster; a brother-in-law, Bill Huff, Sr; and a step great-granddaughter Peyton Humphrey.  She is survived by two sons, Jimmy R. (Patty) Patterson, John D. Patterson, Jr; one daughter Tammy (Floyd) Webb, all of Ironton, Ohio; two sisters, Thelma Huff and Erma (Tim) Sark; one sister-in-law, Rose Hardy, all of Ironton; one granddaughter Brittany (Bryan) Steele of Ironton; a step granddaughter, Trisha (Greg) Drake; and 2 step great-grandchildren, Emme Drake and Preston Drake, all of Louisville, KY.  Funeral service will be Thursday June 27, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point, OH.
