Jessie Alice Stone

Jessie Alice Stone, 93, of Franklin Furnace, OH, formerly of South Point, OH passed away Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at Southern Ohio Medical Center Hospice, Portsmouth, OH.  Jessie was born July 24, 1924 in Huntington, WV a daughter of the late John Allen and Katherine Susan Clarke Hart.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James M. Stone.  Jessie is survived by her nephews and nieces, John A. Hart, III, Jack Joffe, Andrea Joffe and Clara Hart; and her special friends and caretakers, Bill and Susan Sparks and Earl Koster.  Funeral services will be 11 AM Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point, OH with Pastor JD Crockrel officiating.  Burial will follow at Green Bottom Memorial Park Cemetery, Cabell County, WV.  Friends may visit one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home.  Condolences to the family may be expressed at www.slackandwallace.com.
