I grew up with the Fitzpatrick boys. They were older than me but I knew them because they were friends with my brothers. Charles was friends with Lee Johnson, Don was with Elmer Johnson. Helen a sister was friends with my sisters. It was so common to see Don around South Point. As with Bill, the Mayor who got water and sewer put in South Point and down toward Sheridan. Mayor Fitzpatrick also was the one who got the property for a playground ns swimming pool. He would have done much more but was held back by council. He deserves to have something in his name in South Point. He has many accomplishments bringing South Point into the 20th Century. Don was the friendliest of them all. Always smiling and eager to help. He was always busy with one building job or another. I wish I had told him how much I appreciated him and what he did for me. I know there is a great reunion on heaven.

So sorry for your loss. Don was a wonderful person. He was so good to my parents, Margie and Bill Vankovich. They loved him very much. May he rest in Heavenly Peace.
