Ethel McGinity Mudd

March 11, 1942 - July 16, 2016

Ethel McGinity Harper Mudd, 74 of Pinellas Park, FL, currently residing in Huntington, WV, died Saturday, July 16, 2016 at Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice of Huntington.  She was born March 11, 1942 in Uniontown, Fayette County, PA, a daughter of the late Denis and Ann Nairn McGinity.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Mudd.  Ethel retired from a variety of careers where she always helped others achieve their dreams. Ethel is survived by her children, DeAnna Harper, James Kailen Harper, three grandchildren, Dannielle, Rhys and Kellen Harper; three sisters: Kathleen Maynard, Rita Vance, Eileen McGinity and a brother, Denis McGinity.  Entombment will be held at a later date at St. Mary Parish Peace Gardens Mausoleum in Star City, WV.  In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice House of Huntington, WV would be appreciated.  Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point, OH is assisting the family with arrangements.  Condolences to the family may be expressed at www.slackandwallace.com.
