Billy Mac Hardy

February 1, 1956 - July 18, 2016

Billy Mac Hardy, 60, of Chesapeake, OH died July 17, 2016 at home.  Billy was born February 1, 1956 in Huntington, WV a son of the late Kenneth Mack Hardy and Esther Annabelle Bragg.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one sister, Kathy Gray. He was employed at Cabell Huntington Hospital in Environmental Services for 21 years.   Billy is survived by his wife, Sandra Webb Hardy; a daughter, Megan Nicole Hardy; sisters, Debbie (Alvan) Gale, Karen Hardy and Kenna Wallace; brothers, Keith Hardy, Kendall Hardy and Kenny Hardy; stepchildren, J. Douglas (Ashley) Bills, Zachary (Kari) Bills and Sarah (Scott) Rickman; grandchildren, Hunter Bills, Emma Bills and Paxtyn Rickman; a special mention, Aunt Hilda Stephens; and special friends, Shawn and Justin “Red” Clay.  A celebration of life will be 4 PM Saturday, July 23, 2016 at Sybene Independent Missionary Baptist Church, South Point, OH with a small service to follow at 6 PM.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Huntington Boys and Girls Club where Bill spent a lot of his younger years.  His favorite activity was Billiards, which led him to multiple awards and trophies.  Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point, OH is assisting the family with arrangements.  Condolences to the family may be expressed at www.slackandwallace.com.
