Garland J. Neal

Garland J. Neal, 88, of Kitts Hill, OH passed away on Friday, September 30, 2016 at Community Hospice Care Center, Ashland, KY.  Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Monday, October 3, 2016 at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point, OH with Pastor Robert Dudding officiating.  Burial will follow at Leatherwood Cemetery, Kitts Hill, OH.  Garland was born August 31, 1928 in Lawrence County, OH, a son of the late Clinton B. and Christina A. Webb Neal.  He was also preceded in death by his wife, Frances Lilly Lang Neal and brother, Clifford Neal.  Garland was an Army Veteran of the Korean War and a member of Leatherwood Missionary Baptist Church.  He is survived by his son and daughter in-law, Kenneth R. and Karen Neal of Kitts Hill, OH and 1 granddaughter, Kaylee Sizemore.  Friends may call from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm Monday before the service at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home.  Condolences to the family may be expressed at www.slackandwallace.com.
