    James D. (Jimmy) Collingsworth, 57, of Coal Grove, OH passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at Community Hospice Care Center, Ashland, KY.  Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Friday, October 7, 2016 at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point, OH with Pastor Jeremy Simpson officiating.  Burial will follow in Lawrence Furnace Cemetery, State Rt. 93, Pedro, OH.  Jimmy was born August 25, 1959 the son of the late Edward Collingsworth and Doris Taylor.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Marilyn Wilson and Catherine Sue Collingsworth.  He attended Rock Hill Schools.  He was a landscaper and had a passion for building with craft sticks.  Survivors include his wife, Brenda Collingsworth; 2 daughters, Crystal (Joe) Thompson and Jerri (John) Pritchard; 2 grandsons, Derek Thompson and Hunter Workman; 3 sisters, Tammy (Roger) Hanshaw, Beverly (Rick) Smith and Tesa Schoolcraft; 2 brothers, Tony (Karen) Collingsworth and Dallas (Renee`) Collingsworth;  a sister-in-law, Janice Unrue Crum; 2 brothers-in-law, John Wilson and Gary Wilson; 2 uncles, Albert Massie and John Holston; an aunt, Mary (Harlow) Willis; and several nieces, nephews and friends.  Friends may call 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  Condolences to the family may be expressed at www.slackandwallace.com.
