David F. Lester 77, of Easley, SC formerly of Chesapeake, Ohio went to be with the Lord on December 1, 2016 at home. Dave was a long time member of the South Point Christian Church where he taught Sunday school for many years and served in various leadership positions. He also served as president of the South Point Village Council. Dave was a consummate professional in every aspect of his life. He later formed Franklin Mining Inc., which produced and shipped coal from eastern Kentucky and southern Indiana. In the late eighties, he relocated to Sarasota Florida where he purchased a blueprint and reprographic business from which he eventually retired in the mid-nineties. After retiring, Dave relocated to Easley, SC to be near his granddaughters whom he absolutely adored.
