ANDREW JACKSON DOLIN; 85 years, of South Point, OH, received his Heavenly Reward and his “quiet moment to exchange worlds”, on Friday, December 2, 2016.  He was born January 27, 1931 in Foster, WV.  Reunited and preceding him in death were his loving wife of 60 years Freeda June McClure Dolin, his parents Martin W. & Nancy E. Doss Dolin, his siblings Clarence, Dennis, Bethel, Freeman & Mary Dolin.  He is survived by his wife Norah K. Meadows Dolin of Barboursville, WV and his brother Martin Dolin of Foster, WV.  He leaves his Love and Blessings to his six children Glen & Kay Jeffrey Dolin of South Point, Steve & Sharon Triplett Dolin of South Point, Maurice & Judy Svarda Dolin of Middletown, Fred & Frances Dolin Lewis of Kitts Hill, Terry & Patty Byrd Dolin of South Point, all from OH and Rick & Shirley Dolin Snider of Barboursville, WV.  Also surviving are his 18 grandchildren; Andrew, Candace, Jami, Amanda, Michael, Nathan, Kevin, Buddy, Laura, Jenafer, Alicia, Matthew, Johnathan, Ace, Terrina, Jennifer, Luke & Mark and 25 great-grandchildren.  Daddy’s works were a testimony of his faithfulness and servanthood to GOD, as a member and deacon of the Kenova church of Christ.  Among his testimonials he served our Lord through witnessing, singing, praying, teaching and preaching the proclamation of the Risen Christ.  Along his journey in life he embraced being a husband and father, “…in the way they should go…” (Prov. 22:16).  He enjoyed carpentry, gardening, canning, quilting & quartet singing.  The family wishes to invite you to celebrate his life with them by attending his visitation Monday, December 5th from 6-8 PM at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home in South Point.  His memorial service will be held the following afternoon, Tuesday, December 6th at 1 PM at Kenova church of Christ, 1801 Chestnut Street, Kenova, WV.  His Grandson, Brad (Jami Dolin) Bennington of Morehead, KY will be the speaker of his celebration.  Upon conclusion of his services at Rose Hill Burial Park, Ashland, KY, please return with the family and join us in a reception dinner hosted by the Kenova church of Christ.  Condolences to the family may be expressed at www.slackandwallace.com.
