David Lee Lynd, 49 of South Point, OH passed away Tuesday, December 06, 2016 at Community Hospice Care Center, Ashland, KY.  Funeral services will be 2 PM Sunday, December 11, 2016 at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point, OH.  Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery, Burlington, OH.  David was born February 16, 1967 in Ironton, OH, a son of Marjorie Malone (Ed) Brammer and the late Kermit R. Lynd.  In addition to his father he was preceded in death by a sister, Donna Lynd; maternal grandparents, Rev. Frank and Mildred Malone; and his paternal grandparents, Garland and Zella Lynd.  David is also survived by his daughter, Brandy Lynd; three grandchildren, Rece, Kain and Kavik; a brother, Danny Lynd; ½ brother, Scott Lynd; ½ sister, Lora Baldridge; special people, Jamie and Melonie Lynd; and numerous cousins and friends.   Friends may visit one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers or food the family asks that contributions be made to Slack and Wallace Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.  Condolences to the family may be expressed at www.slackandwallace.com.
