Louise Whaley,   90, of South Point, Ohio passed away January 21, 2017 at Kings’ Daughter’s Medical Center, Ashland, KY.  Graveside services will be 12 PM Thursday, January 26, 2017 at Highland Memorial Gardens, South Point, OH with Pastor Scott Mann officiating.  Geraldine was born February 23, 1926 in Lawrence County, OH a daughter of the late Ralph Legg and Geraldine Davidson Legg.  In addition to her mother she was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Kalvin Whaley; and three brothers, Bill Legg, Don Legg and George Legg.  She was a custodian at South Point schools.  Geraldine is survived by four children, Linda Musser of South Point, OH, Peggy (Arnold) Hutchison of South Point, OH, Kathy (Frank) Chapman of Chesapeake, OH and Allen (Jan) Whaley of Greenup, KY; two sisters, June Holbrook of South Point, OH and Barbara Winslow of CA; one brother, Robert Legg of Ironton, OH; five grandchildren, Carl Hutchison, Nick Chapman, Katrina Ackerman, Angela Daniel and Sebrina Jeffers; 8 great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.  Friends may call from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM Thursday at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point, OH.  Slack and Wallace Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.  Condolences to the family may be expressed at www.slackandwallace.com.
