    John Conley, Jr., 86 of South Point, OH, passed away January 23, 2017 at Cabell Huntington Hospital, Huntington, WV.  Funeral services will be 11 AM Saturday, January 28, 2017 at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point, OH with Jerry Greenslait officiating.  Entombment will follow at Highland Memorial Gardens, South Point, OH.  John was born April 10, 1930 in Canvas, WV, a son of the late John Conley, Sr. and Della Mae Carroway Conley.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his 1st wife, Elva Callicoat Conley; two sisters, Bea Jordan and Trudy Simms; and three brothers, BW Conley, Cecil Conley and Orville Conley.  He was a pipefitter and contractor.  John is survived by his wife, Diane Conley; his children, Doug (Debbie) Conley, John P. Conley and Sclena Mae Ellis; a sister, Kathryn Standish; 11 grandchildren, Heather (Roger) Maynard of Proctorville, OH, Dr. Josh (Micca) Conley of Grove City, OH, Angie (Matt) Holt, Peri (Willie) Costly, Lucas (Candace) Conley and Clayton (Jyoti) Conley all of Lexington, KY, Ryan Deerfield of South Point, OH, Russell Deerfield of Ashland, KY, Jesse Mezo of Proctorville, OH, Ashley Mezo of Huntington, WV and James H. Howell of Lancaster, OH; 15 great grandchildren; and his buddy, Randy Lutes.  Friends may call from 6 to 8 PM Friday, January 27, 2017 at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Little Victories Animal Rescue Shelter or to the funeral home to help with expenses.   Condolences to the family may be expressed at www.slackandwallace.com.
