Robin Carte

October 21, 1952 - April 19, 2016

Robin Carte, loving mother and friend, 63, of Deering, OH, formerly of Huntington, WV, passed away, Tuesday April 19, 2016 at home.  She was born, October 21, 1952 in Huntington, WV a daughter of the late Robert Joseph Moulton and Mary Jean Pearman Moulton.  She was 1970 graduate of Huntington East High School.  She was previously employed with Corbin Limited LTD. for 30+ years and currently a retail sales associate for WalMart in Ashland, KY.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Richard Carte.  She is survived by a daughter, Amy Reynolds Jackson of Ironton, OH; a step-daughter, Tara Carte (Doug) Short of Ashland, KY; grandchildren, Madison and Aaron Jackson and Miranda Devaney; great grandchildren, Laynee Crabtree and Emma Grace Duncan;  sister, Jan Moulton; mother-in-law, Betty Martin Carte; sister-in-law, Brenda Carte (Mark) Adkins; brothers-in-law, Charlie (Therese) Carte and Rick (Patty) Carte; nieces, Natalie and Katlyn; great nieces, Adrianna and Aa’Nyan; nephews, Chris, Eric, Austin, Tanner, Kyle and Todd; aunt, Carolyn (Tom) Smith; and many special friends.  Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM Monday, April 25, 2016 at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point, OH.  Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at 1:00 PM at the funeral home with Pastor Trent Carpenter officiating.  Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Richard Lee Carte Vocational Trade Scholarship, US Bank, 2301 S. 3^rd St., Ironton, OH  45638, c/o Cathy McFann.  Condolences to the family may be expressed at www.slackandwallace.com.
