Sherri Lynn Gould

November 8, 1963 - March 12, 2017

Sherri Lynn Gould, 53, of Chesapeake, OH passed away Sunday, March 12, 2017 at her residence.  She was born November 8, 1963 in Huntington, WV, a daughter of Daniel L. Jones of Chesapeake and the late Margaret L. Butcher Jones.  She was a Home Health Worker for Res-Care Ohio.  Sherri was the Valedictorian of South Point High School, Class of 1982 and a member of Spring Valley Freedom Baptist Church.  She also loved to fish.  In addition to her father, she is survived by two brothers, Michael (Jackie) Jones of South Point and D. J. (Tasha) Jones of Proctorville; a nephew, Anthony Jones; her favorite aunt, Sandy Light; and cousins, Jill Lynd, Joni Canterbury, Matthew Canterbury, Alli Lively and Abby Lively.  Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Thursday, March 16, 2017 at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point with Pastor Patrick Elliott officiating.  Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  Condolences to the family may be expressed at www.slackandwallace.com.
