    Zimmerman Riley, 91, of Chesapeake, OH died Sunday, March 19, 2017.  He was born June 8, 1925 in Huntington, WV, a son of the late Eugene and Etta Zimmerman Riley.  He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Jessie L. Bias Riley and one sister, Doris Higgins.  He was the co-owner of Southern Machine and Repair Shop and was a machinist and repairman for the Ohio River Co.  He was a WWII Navy Veteran, a member of Mt. Hope Baptist Church, American Legion Post 640, and Eastern Star Teresa Chapter 256 of Proctorville.  Zim was also a 32nd Degree Mason and a 60 year member of the Masonic Lodge 550 F & AM, Proctorvile, OH.  Survivors include his wife, Betty Lee (Mays) Riley; one son, Michael Riley of Chesapeake, OH; three daughters, Rebecca (James) Smith, DeAnna (Ronald) Schotts, Debra (Roger) Tabor all of Proctorville, OH, and one step-daughter, Debbie (Steve) Saxton of Huntington WV; one brother, George Riley of Encino, CA; 6 grandchildren, Jennifer (Danny) Lykins, Christopher (Tina) McComas, Shanna Neil, Tiffany Mills, Jessica Tabor, and Cassie Tabor; 2 step-grandchildren, Amy Saxton and Shaun (Tiffany) Saxton; 6 great grandchildren; and 4 step great grandchildren.  Funeral services will be 11:00 am Thursday, March 23, 2017 at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home with Pastors Jackie Clark and Mark Roach officiating.  Burial with military honors will follow at Rome Cemetery, Proctorville.  Friends may call Wednesday from 6 – 8 pm at the funeral home, with Masonic rites at 7:30 pm.  Condolences to the family may be expressed at www.slackandwallace.com.
