Berkley R. Carrico

April 2, 1959 - March 30, 2017

Berkley R. Carrico, 59 of South Point, OH passed away Thursday, March 30, 2017 at his residence.  He was born April 2, 1957 in Lawrence County, OH, a son of the late Berkley and Mary Carrico.  He was the former manager of South Point Sunoco where he worked for 15 years.  He was also a member of Lick Creek Independent Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon.  He lived in the area most of his life.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jay Broughton and six sisters, Linda Carrico, Mary Carrico, Brenda Bartrum, Debbie Carrico, Cindy Delawder and Stacey Carrico.  He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Rae Carrico of Marion, OH; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Joy (Don) Crowe, Sally Burke, all of Ironton, OH; special cousin and family, Jennifer (Cuz) VanSant; his godson, Gordon Meadows; and his goddaughter, Genna Paige, all of Ironton.  Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at Lick Creek Independent Baptist Church with Pastors Mike Dement, Pat Burnett and Paul Toney officiating.  Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Gardens, South Point.  Friends may call 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM Wednesday at the church.  Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point, OH is assisting the family with arrangements.  Condolences to the family may be expressed at www.slackandwallace.com.
