McCleda Faye Keeney, 83, of Huntington, WV, passed away, Friday, March 31, 2017 at Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington, WV.  Funeral services will be 1 PM Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point, OH with Pastor David Higgins officiating.  Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Gardens, South Point, OH.  McCleda was born August 18, 1933 in Lawrence County, OH, a daughter of the late Ottie and Henrietta Ellis Leffingwell.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Merlyn Keeney; and two sisters, Martha Rowe and Alma Tooley.  She was a member of Harmony Missionary Baptist Church.  She is survived by her son, Randy (Marsha) Keeney of Chesapeake, OH; a brother, Dee (Andi) Leffingwell of South Point, OH; a granddaughter, Ashley (Darrell) Duncan of South Point, OH; and one great grandchild, Draven Duncan of South Point, OH.  Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.  Condolences to the family may be expressed at www.slackandwallace.com.
