Dora Lee Blunk

Dora Lee Blunk, 90, of South Point, OH, passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at Jo-Lin Health Center, Ironton, OH.  Dora was born November 5, 1926 in Holden, WV, a daughter of the late Russell Spaulding and Flossie Mullens Spaulding.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her 1^st husband, Harry A. Lyons; and 2^nd husband, James William Blunk.  She was a member of South Point Christian Church.  Dora is survived by her children, Jerry Dale Lyons of South Point, OH, Kay Lyons (Thomas) Donnally of South Port, NC and Tara (John) Gibson of South Point, OH; a sister, June (Amerigo) Testani of Livonia, MI; two brothers, Clyde (Polly) Spaulding of Howard, OH and Bob (JoAnn) Spaulding of Amesville, OH; 7 grandchildren, Keith Lyons, Jeri Ann Fuller, Russell Lyons, Myles Gibson, Evelynne Gibson, Adalynne Gibson and Serianna Gibson; 8 great grandchildren, Kayla Corley, Brooke Lyons, Kaylee McCormack, Bradlee McCormack, Chase Fuller, Lucas Fuller, Carson Lyons and Addison Lyons; and two great-great grandchildren, Sawyer Corley and Marshall Corley.  Funeral Services will be 1 PM Friday, April 14, 2017 at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point, OH with Jerry Greenslait and John Gibson officiating.  Entombment will follow at Ridge Lawn Memorial Park, Huntington, WV.  Friends may visit from 12 pm to 1 pm Friday before the service at the funeral home.  Condolences to the family may be expressed at www.slackandwallace.com.
