Barbara Jean Mendivil

September 26, 1956 - May 4, 2017

Barbara Jean Kirk Medivil, 60 of South Point, OH died Thursday, May 4, 2017 at her residence.  She was born September 26, 1956 in Ashland, KY, a daughter of the late Jack E. Wolfe and Lois Shumate Lewis.  She was also preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Edward and Myrtle Shumate.  Barbara Jean was a Minister.  Survivors include her husband, Richard Mendivil; a son, Ryan Nichols of Ashland, KY; a sister, Melonie Moore of Ashland; a brother, Charles Lewis; and two grandchildren, Andrew Nichols and Austin Pinkerman.  There will be no services.  Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point is assisting the family with arrangements.  Condolences to the family may be expressed at www.slackandwallace.com.
