    Kathleen Gail Vanderpool, 65, of Coal Grove, OH died Friday, May 5, 2017 at the James Cancer Center, Columbus, OH.  She was born January 23, 1952 in Ypsilanti, MI.  She owned and operated a wood craft shop.  She is survived by her husband, Karl Dean Vanderpool; four children, Aaron Mowery, Brian Mowery, Erica Bowman Porter and Michael Knuckles; five grandchildren; and one great grandchild.  Services are pending at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home.  Condolences to the family may be expressed at www.slackandwallace.com.
