Eric Alan Miller

October 19, 1962 - July 16, 2015

Eric Alan Miller, 52, of Pedro, Ohio passed away Thursday, July 16, 2015 at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington, WV.  Funeral services will be at 3:00 PM Sunday, July 19, 2015 at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point, Ohio with Denver Majher officiating.  Eric was born October 19, 1962 in Baton Rouge, LA, a son of Iris Smith Chudley and Charles Donald (Janice) Miller.  He was preceded in death by his step-father, Walter W. Chudley and a brother-in-law, Randy Martin. Eric was formerly a co-owner and manager of Tri-State Industrial Supply, Ashland, KY and a graduate of Symmes Valley High School.  He also earned an Associate Degree from the University of Rio Grande and a Bachelor’s Degree from Ohio University Southern.  In addition to his parents, he is survived by an adopted son, James Michael Miller; three step-daughters, Tara, Kayla and Tiffany; several grandchildren; four sisters, Diana (Bill) Tyson, Gina Martin, Elizabeth (Tim) Hicks and Julie (Brian) Whitnel; and a brother, Kevin (Leslie) Miller.  Friends may call from 2:00 to 3:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home.  Condolences to the family may be expressed at www.slackandwallace.com.
