Betty Jenkins

Betty Jean Jenkins, 88, of Ironton, OH passed away on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at JoLin Health Center, Ironton.  She was born January 25, 1927 in Lawrence County, OH, a daughter of the late Henry and Estel Waugh DeLong.  Also preceding her in death was her husband, Ralph Jenkins; 2 sisters; Irene Hyden Wall and Marie Kock; 2 brothers, Thomas DeLong and Henry DeLong; a son-in-law, David Bruce; and a grandson, Eddie Harrison.  Betty Jean is survived by 3 daughters, Donna (Marion) Harrison, Elaine Jenkins and Beverly Bruce, all of Ironton; 1 brother, Floyd DeLong of FL; 2 grandsons, Scott (Kim) Harrison of FL and Brian Harrison of Ironton; 4 great grandchildren, Brittany (Alex) Craft, Katherine Harrison, Austin (Kendra) Harrison and Makayla Harrison; 5 great grandchildren; and 2 step grandsons, Paul Bruce and Dean Bruce.  Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point, OH.  Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens.  Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  Condolences to the family may be expressed at www.slackandwallace.com.
