Linda Estep, 74, of Chesapeake, OH went to sing in the Heavenly Choir Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at Heartland of Riverview, South Point, OH. Graveside services will be 12 PM Thursday, October 29, 2015 at Rome Cemetery, Proctorville, OH with Pastors Harold Hamlin and Bill Flannery officiating. Linda was born September 18, 1941 in Huntington, WV, a daughter of the late Franklin Harold Clay and Marcella Blanche McQuaid Viars. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one sister, Barbara Ellen Clay. She was a member of Defender United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir. Linda was a bus driver for the Chesapeake School System for 35 years and was a true pillar of the community. She is survived by her children, Brecka (Larry) Hamlin of Chesapeake, OH, Beverly (Brent) Jeffers of Chesapeake, OH, Johnette (Jim) Graff of Hurricane, WV, John William Blake, Jr. of Chesapeake, OH and Geneva (Mark) Pemberton of Chesapeake, OH; one brother, Jerry Harold (Fran) Clay of Chesapeake, OH; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation or Defender United Methodist Church to sponsor a family for Christmas.
