    Thomas A. Mathes, 77, of South Point, OH passed away on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at Cabell Huntington Hospital.  He was born June 9, 1938 in Huntington, a son of the late Amos Mathes and Gladys Mannon Mathes.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 sons, Thomas Allen Mathes, II and Randy Keith Mathes.  He was retired from Heiner’s Bakery as a truck driver.  Thomas is survived by his wife, Pamela Yates Mathes; 5 children, Vickie Runyon, Sherry Mathes, Chris (Stacy) Mathes, Scott (Angie) Mathes and Kellie (Dan) Robinson; 10 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.  Private family services will be held at a later date.  Slack and Wallace is assisting the family with arrangements.  Condolences may be expressed at www.slackandwallace.com.
