Hazel Damron

May 19, 1922 - November 8, 2015

Hazel Damron, 93, of South Point, OH passed away on Sunday, November 8, 2015 at her residence.  She was born May 19, 1922 in Logan County, WV, a daughter of the late Matt Maynard and Vadie Adkins Maynard Hollandsworth.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Noah C. Damron.  Hazel is survived by her children, Judith Ann McGuffin of KY, Jerry Thomas Damron of South Point and Carol Sue Starkey of South Point; 3 brothers, Clyde Maynard of KY, Willie Maynard of Powhatten Point, OH and Emory Hollandswoth of KY; and several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren.  Funeral services will be at 1:oo PM Thursday, November 12, 2015 at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point with Pastor Rex Maynard officiating.  Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens.  Friends may call 2 hours prior to the service.  Condolences to the family may be expressed at www.slackandwallace.com.
