Gaynelle Gibson

November 15, 1942 - December 24, 2015

Gaynelle Gibson, 73, of South Point, OH died Thursday, December 24, 2015 at her residence.  She was born November 15, 1942 in Jenkins, KY, a daughter of the late George Lewis Ratliff and Cora L. Hall Ratliff.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Bobbi Humphreys and Myrtle Chapman; and 3 brothers, Willis Ratliff, Lewis Ratliff and James Ratliff.  Gaynelle was the owner of the Food Basket in South Point.  Survivors include 2 sons, Jerry A. (Carolyn L.) Gibson, Jr. and Mark Edward (Elisa Jane) Gibson; 2 sisters, Madonna Jackson and Billie Mullins; a brother, Glen Wallace Ratliff; 4 grandchildren, Aaron Nathaniel Gibson, Andrew Jeremiah Gibson, Megan Ciara Gibson and Dustin Lee Gibson; and 2 great grandchildren, Shade Douglas Gibson and Maverick Edward Gibson.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Monday, December 28, 2015 at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home.   Condolences to the family may be expressed at www.slackandwallace.com.
