    Karen Drake Turner, 73, of Proctorville, Ohio, passed away February 7, 2016, at St. Mary’s Hospital.  She was born March 3, 1942, in Manila, W. Va., daughter of the late Athol Dorsie and Jenny Opal Barker Drake.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Turner; brother Keith Drake, brother and sister-in-law Neale (Melva) Drake, brother and sister-in-law Maurice (Christine) Drake; and brother-in-law Lucian Carter.  She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Christy and Richard Krejci, and two grandsons, Alexander and Eric Krejci, all of Ada, Mich.; brother Dorsie of Chapmanville, W.Va., sister Charlotte Carter of Chesapeake, Ohio, brother and sister-in-law Paul (Lynn) Drake of South Point, Ohio, and sister and brother-in-law Linda (Noah) Tanner of Owensboro, KY; and numerous nieces and nephews.  Visitation will be Tuesday, February 9, 2016 from 7 to 8:30 PM at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point, OH and a private family prayer service will be held later at Rome Cemetery, Proctorville, Ohio.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the American Heart Association or the charity of your choice.  Condolences to the family may be expressed at www.slackandwallace.com.
