Carl Gibson

Carl ”Dave” Gibson, 68, of South Point, OH died Thursday, February 18, 2016 at the Sanctuary of the Ohio Valley, Ironton, OH.  Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Saturday, February 20, 2016 at Ice Creek Missionary Baptist Church, Ironton, OH with Pastors Ed Cook and Todd Warner  officiating.  Dave was born May 23, 1947 in Ironton, OH, a son of Billie L. Gibson of South Point and the late Asenith “Toots” Morris Gibson.  In addition to his father, he is survived by a son, Chris (Mary) Gibson; a daughter, Lisa (David) Howard; 2 sisters, Sharon (Leroy) Seagraves of Ashland, KY and Terrasa Gibson of Columbus, OH; a brother, Billie E. (Kathy) Gibson of Knoxville, TN; his step-mother, Kay Gibson; and his grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Friends may call from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm Saturday at the church.  Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point is assisting the family with arrangements.  Condolences to the family may be expressed at www.slackandwallace.com.
