Charlene Delores Jenkins

March 11, 1932 - March 1, 2016

Charlene Delores Jenkins, 83, of Ironton, Ohio passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at Community Hospice Care Center, Ashland, KY.  She was born March 11, 1932 in Lawrence County, Ohio a daughter of the late Charles and Nancy Wallace Jones.  In addition to her parents he was preceded in death her husband of 63 years, Ronald Paul Jenkins; her brother, Mike Jones; and sister, Joyce Zaghawski.  She was member of Beta Sigma Phi for 30 years.  Charlene is survived by her children Jeffery Lee (Tina) Jenkins of AK and Rhonda (George) Aldridge of Ironton, OH; two brothers, Darryl Jones and Charles “Sam” (Rita) Jones all of Ironton, OH; 6 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren.  Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point, OH is assisting the family with arrangements.  Condolences to the family may be expressed at www.slackandwallace.com.
