Charles David Fitzpatrick, 54, of South Point, OH died Sunday, March 29, 2015 at OSU James Cancer Center, Columbus, OH. He was born February 12, 1961 in Ironton, OH, a son of the late William Lee Fitzpatrick, Sr. and Ruth Dickess Fitzpatrick. He was the owner of C. D. Fitzpatrick Construction, South Point. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Sharon Kay Cochran and a brother, William Lee (Billy) Fitzpatrick, Jr.. David is survived by his children, Brandy Fitzpatrick of South Point, Shawn (Pam) Haney of South Point and Tonya (C. J.) Cordial of Flatwoods, KY; 4 grandchildren, Caleb and Tyler Cordial, Autumn McKnight and Alexis Haney; and a brother, Glenn (Beth) Fitzpatrick of South Point. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Friday, April 3, 2015 at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point with Denny Hankins officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens, South Point. Friends may call from 6 to 8 PM Thursday at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service.
