Jason Robert Chapman

Jason Robert Chapman, 34, of Ironton, OH was born January 18, 1983 and died June 5, 2017 at King’s Daughters’ Medical Center with his family and friends at his side. He is survived by his mother, Donna Chapman; his father, Louis Chapman; one sister, Harlena (Matt) Romine; one brother, Louis Chapman, Jr. (Jennifer); five daughters, Haley Chapman, Autumn Chapman, Makayla Chapman, Lycan Chapman and Charleigh Chapman; one nephew, Matthew Romine, Jr.; and two nieces, Natasha Chapman and Maddison Romine. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mary Ellen Chapman, Harland Tola Chapman, Marcella Pitts and L. D. Jarvis. He was a graduate of Coal Grove High School, Class of 2002 where he played football. He was loved by his special aunt, Kim Jarvis and special cousin, Tyler Jarvis and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was liked and loved by many. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Slack and Wallace Funeral Home to help with expenses.
